The process by which they glow is called bioluminescence, something I’ve been very interested in for quite some time.
They do change color simultaneously, and how they communicate to each other which color to change to is something I haven’t yet learned. It is amazing to see in person, though. I can’t express how happy seeing this made me.
I do appear via reflection in the video, and there are moments of focus problems. I’m still learning the video feature of the new camera body.
My goodness, you could make an ambient music video with this.
